Alex Coffey is COO for the 53 Degrees Global group and CFO of Royal SVOD True Royalty. With over 20 years’ experience in the TV indie sector, Alex was part of the team that grew Maverick TV into a multi-awarding winning, international TV and digital indie. He was involved in the sale of Maverick to All3Media, helping set up Maverick US and later became COO across Maverick and North One Television within the All3Media group.

Alex has been key to the restructure of 53 Degrees Global into a multi-faceted media group, which has expanded from traditional unscripted and entertainment business into drama, social media, digital and podcasts. In addition to 53 Degrees, Alex works on fundraising for True Royalty TV as the platform expands from a Royal SVOD on Amazon Prime in the US to a global multi-platform brand.
